I’ve always been eager to travel and get acquainted with the world’s education system. A chance came my way when I had to move from my home country to Abudhabi (United Arab Emirates) for two semesters in order to get a double major in a branch of business administration. While there I took advantage of the available resources, including numerous lectures and university professors.

The American education system is a well-known and highly regarded system of learning. It has been in place for decades, and it is the most popular form of education in the United States. However, there are some countries that have more efficient systems than the US. One of these countries is the United Arab Emirates, where the education system is very different from the American one.

United Arab Emirates’s education system is based on a two-semester year

It’s with a six-week summer break in between semesters. The first semester starts at the beginning of September and finishes at Christmas time with exams being taken after each semester ends. The second semester begins after Christmas time and finishes in June with exams taken after each semester ends as well. In the United Arab Emirates, students are not required to pay tuition or school fees in public schools. However, the country is faced with a widespread shortage of schools and classrooms. The government has tried to solve this problem by building several new schools over the years, but this only marginally helps alleviate the problem. United Arab Emirates’s education system requires students to spend eight hours per day in school six days a week. for the entire school year.
